Hi, I’m Andrea.

Above anything else, I care about the relationship we build. That is the most important aspect of our therapeutic work together. I will get to know you, and you will get to know me. My dog also tends to make guest appearances in session.

My Approach

I am Andrea Jensen, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate serving Washington state residents through secure Telehealth sessions. Under the supervision of Rachel Hnizdil, LMFT. I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist who helps women heal from anxiety, depression, and relational wounds. My approach integrates mindfulness and evidence-based care to address both emotional and somatic patterns. I create a safe space for women to process trauma, build self-trust, and reconnect with their inner strength. My work focuses on helping clients break cycles of people-pleasing, self-doubt, and burnout so they can live with greater confidence and peace.

Collaboration & Empathy

With a foundation in Person-Centered and psychodynamic theories, my therapeutic approach is both compassionate and results-driven. I integrate techniques from Lifespan Integration (similar to EMDR), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Interpersonal Outcomes Method to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.

Creativity & Mindfulness

As a professional fine artist, I incorporate art-based and meditative techniques into therapy when appropriate, offering an alternative avenue for expression and healing. While not formally an art therapist, my background enriches the therapeutic experience, especially for clients who find traditional talk therapy limiting.
