Andrea Jensen Psychotherapist Kirkland, WA

Meet Andrea Jensen, MA, LMHCA

With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specialized training in trauma-informed care, I provide trauma therapy for women in the Seattle and Eastside area who have disconnected from their core identity to survive abuse and stress. My approach integrates Depth Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Jungian analysis, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster resilience and sustainable well-being.

Trauma Therapy for Women

  • You give your time, energy, and attention freely to your job, your family, and everyone who needs you. But without boundaries, the constant giving can leave you drained, resentful, and disconnected from yourself.

  • Navigate your relationships from a place of empowerment. Manage difficult people. Communicate your needs with intimate partners and friends.

  • You’re competent, capable, and constantly on edge. Anxiety may be pushing you to succeed, but it’s also robbing you of peace and presence. Whether it shows up as overthinking, perfectionism, or physical symptoms, anxiety doesn’t have to run your life.

  • Depression can quietly drain your energy and pull you away from the life you want to live. It might show up as persistent sadness, overwhelming fatigue, or a sense of hopelessness that makes everything feel heavier. But depression doesn’t define who you are and it’s possible to feel like yourself again.

  • Early experiences, being told you were “too sensitive,” having to earn love through achievement, or being ignored, criticized, or dismissed can leave lasting imprints. Even decades later, these patterns can quietly shape how you see yourself, fueling feelings of unworthiness and fear of not being enough. Trauma-informed therapy can help you release what no longer belongs to you and live from a place of safety and self-trust.

  • Grief can feel overwhelming. It touches every part of life, from your emotions to your body. Therapy provides a steady place to work through the pain and find meaning after loss.
